Meydan Pillar Partner, The Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group is to support a Dubai World Cup Carnival card this Thursday featuring the high-class Zabeel Mile, a Group 2 turf contest, as well as showcase fillies’ race, the Group 3 UAE Oaks.
The Listed Meydan Classic will also be staged on the six-race card, which will see four contests held on the turf and two on the all-weather.

This meeting, the eighth of eleven 2014 Dubai World Cup Carnival meetings will culminate in the March 29 Dubai World Cup day and is worth US$1,015m in prize money.
This is the second meeting of the season that bears the name of The Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group, after the company supported a Saturday race meeting on February 1. The Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group will also have a strong presence on Dubai World Cup day through the sponsorship of the season’s most important Classic, the Group 2 UAE Derby worth $2m.
“The 2014 race season is now well underway in the UAE,” said Mr Abdullah Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah, Chairman of the Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Group.
“We are very much enjoying the events hosted at Meydan Racecourse. Our end of February Dubai World Cup Carnival evening should work well for us.
