ATR TO
STREAM LIVE AUSTRALIAN RACING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN UK & IRELAND
At The
Races today announced that its new in-house streaming division is now serving
over 4.5 million live race streams per month via the Company's partner
bookmaker websites with latency that is significantly quicker than it achieved
through previous third party supplier arrangements.
ATR's streaming platform, which launched
on July 1st this year, has been developed using the latest
technologies to meet the specific demands of the betting industry. ATR today
reported that 16 bookmaker and media partners in the UK & Ireland have
already integrated with the platform. These partners are now delivering
streamed pictures to customers on mobile, desktop and tablet devices that are
in line with TV broadcast in terms of picture quality and latency. The new ATR
streaming service has received positive acclaim from bookmaker partners across
the industry.
At The
Races also announced today that it is set to launch an exclusive streaming
service of live Australian racing from 2am-9am every morning having integrated
Sky Channel, Australia's Racing World Australia programme into its
broadband and mobile streaming platform. The service for bookmakers will be the
first ever regular streamed service of Australian racing in the UK and Ireland
and follows an exclusive agreement that At The Races has secured with Sky
Channel Australia and its parent company, Tabcorp Holdings.
ATR
will continue to broadcast Racing World Australia on its DTH television
service available to over 13 million homes in the UK and Ireland via Sky,
Virgin and UPC.
