IMPRESSIVE PETHER'S MOON ROMPS HOME DURING ALL-WEATHER CHAMPIONSHIPS

Pether's Moon, a progressive three-year-old Dylan Thomas colt trained by Richard Hannon, made all for a very impressive victory in the £37,000 Listed Winners Are Welcome At Betdaq Floodlit Stakes at Kempton Park this evening during the All-Weather Championships which culminate with the £1-million Finals Day on Good Friday (April 18), 2014, at Lingfield Park.
7/2 chance Pether's Moon, ridden by Sean Levey and owned by John Manley, beat Gatewood, the 15/8 favourite, comprehensively by three and three quarter lengths in 2m 32.01s over 12 furlongs on Polytrack.
The trainer's assistant Richard Hannon junior commented: "We are very pleased- he ran a good race and is decent horse.
"We hope he can go on from here. He stays in training next year but there are no plans at the moment. We will discuss where to go with the owner."
