GOING CHANGE AT GOODWOOD



Clerk of the course Seamus Buckley issued a going update at 10am.

The going has changed to

Good and in the straight Good to Soft in places.

Buckley said: "We have had five millimetres of rain this morning up to 10am and the going has changed to Good, with some Good to Soft places in the straight.

"There will be another update before racing."

The going description was previously Good, with a couple of Good to Firm places on the round course.

The GoingStick reading at 10am was 7.6. It was 7.9 at 3pm yesterday, 8.0 on Sunday and 8.7 on Saturday.

Dolled Out
The top bend has been dolled out three yards.
The lower bend has been dolled out five yards.
The straight has been dolled out five yards

This increases race distances by about 10 yards.
