Trainer Charlie Hills is
looking forward to running exciting juveniles Just The Judge and Glenard
on Dubai Future Champions Day at Newmarket this Saturday, October 13.
Both two-year-olds have
yet to taste defeat. Just The Judge is set to line up in the seven-furlong
£60,000 Group Two Vision.ae Rockfel Stakes (4.05pm) following a pair of
impressive victories over the same distance at Newbury.
The Lawman filly
recorded a length success against colts in a Listed race on August 18 and was
the comfortable winner of a fillies' maiden on June 26.
Hills revealed:
"Just The Judge is a likely runner in the Vision.ae Rockfel Stakes. We
have been pleased with her recently and she has done nothing wrong in two
starts.
"Her Listed win at
Newbury wasn't too surprising because she has always shown that she is a nice
filly. She won her maiden on good to soft and she will have no problem with cut
in the ground."
Glenard steps up in
class for the mile £40,000 Group Three Autumn Stakes (4.40pm) following a
winning debut in a Doncaster maiden over the same trip on September 13, when he
belied signs of greenness for a thrusting short-head victory.
Hills continued:
"Glenard will run in the Autumn Stakes, all being well. He has come out of
his race at Doncaster well and did a nice piece of work the other morning.
"The plan was
always to go for this race after Doncaster - he's a big horse and we have been
going steady with him as a two-year-old. He should stay well and next season
will really be his year."
A seven-race card at
Newmarket on Dubai Future Champions Day is headlined by two of the defining
juvenile contests of the season - the £300,000 Group One Dubai Dewhurst Stakes
(2.55pm) and the £150,000 Group One Vision.ae Middle Park Stakes (2.20pm) -
plus the historic £160,000 Betfred Cesarewitch Heritage Handicap (3.35pm).
