CROWD UP ON LADIES' DAY @Goodwood_Races

The third day of Glorious Goodwood 2013, Ladies' Day, saw another increase in crowd, with 22,901 racegoers enjoying terrific racing.

The attendance in 2012 came to 22,791, with the 2011 figure 21,719 and the 2010 total 20,667.

Adam Waterworth, Goodwood Racecourse's managing director, said: "We sold out in the Gordon Enclosure and it is very good to see so many people having a great time on Ladies' Day at Glorious Goodwood.

"The weather could not have been better and Brown Panther's decisive victory in the Artemis Goodwood Cup was the highlight, while the charity race, the Magnolia Cup, raised lots of money."
