STEWARDS LOOKED AT TWO INCIDENTS IN THE ARTEMIS GOODWOOD CUP @Goodwood_Races

The stewards looked into interference between the third Altano and the 3/1 favourite Mount Athos, who finished eighth, approaching the three-furlong marker.

They found Altano's rider Eduardo Pedroza guilty of careless riding in that he moved left when not sufficiently clear. The jockey has been give a one-day ban on Thursday, August 15.

The stewards also judged there was interference approaching the furlong marker, with the winner Brown Panther and fourth Number Theory interfering with Mister Impatience (11th) but no riding offence was committed.
