The going is now
Good
after seven millimetres of
rain last night.
It was Good, Good to Firm
in places yesterday.
It is forecast to be a
lovely day today, with temperatures reaching 24 degrees Celsius
Clerk of the course Seamus
Buckley said: "I have changed the going description to Good after seven
millimetres of rain last night up to 11pm. It has been dry since.
"If the rain had not
come, the going would have been good to firm so it was welcome.
"It is forecast be a
dry, warm and breezy day, with temperatures reaching between 23 and 24 degrees
Celsius, so the ground will dry out a bit.
"The course has stood
up well to the first four days of Glorious Goodwood and we are looking forward
to terrific racing today."
