A warm
Ladies' Day at Glorious Goodwood has seen the ground dry out since the morning
and clerk of the course Seamus Buckley could see the official going description
change again tomorrow.
"At
the start of this morning the going was Good, Good to Soft in places, but after
the first race the jockeys said it was riding Good so I changed the description
accordingly," said Buckley.
"Temperatures
have risen to 28 degrees and it has dried through the afternoon. But horses
have let themselves down on the ground and I have no complaints.
"With
the continuing drying conditions, we could change the going to Good, Good to
Firm in places, or Good to Firm, Good in places, tomorrow. There is still the
possibility of light rain tomorrow but the forecast is uncertain.
