Dane O'Neill, rider of the
second Cape Peron in the Betfred Mile, interfered with Dance And Dance (10th)
approaching the furlong-marker, moving left when not sufficiently clear. The
rider was found to be guilty of careless riding and banned for one day (Friday,
August 16).
Paul Mulrennan, rider of
the winner Moviesta in the Betfred King George Stakes, was judged to have been
careless when allowing his mount to drift continuously left away from the whip
from approaching the half-furlong point to the winning post.
